Less Is More When Watering Your Lawn

Less is more when watering your lawn. Watering too much and too often results in shallow roots, weed growth, disease and fungus.

  • Water long enough to soak down to the root zone, and don’t water again until the soil is dry.
  • A rule of thumb: If the grass springs back when you step on it, it has enough water.
  • Watch my HOW-TO video and find other irrigation tips at www.IrrigationTV.com .

July is Smart Irrigation Month.
